The optical assembly comprises: a first optical film having a first surface; an adhesive layer having a second surface and a third surface opposite to the second surface, wherein the second surface of the adhesive layer is disposed on the first surface of the first optical film, wherein the adhesive layer comprises a thermally-curable material having a plurality of first acrylate functional groups; and a second optical film comprising a plurality of microstructures, wherein each of at least one of the plurality of microstructures has a top planar surface having a plurality of second acrylate functional groups, wherein the top planar surface is boned to the third surface of the adhesive layer by the bonding between the plurality of first acrylate functional groups and the plurality of second acrylate functional groups formed in an illumination process while the thermally-curable material of the adhesive layer has been thermally-cured for preventing the top planar surface from penetrating into the adhesive layer.. ...
